Who are we?

Why us?

Our approach is holistic, where we teach the person first and a dancer second and professional, where we patiently help create the dancer one wishes to become. You can be prepared to be challenged but also discover a passion you never knew you had.

Whether you are coming in for only a few lessons or you find that this might be a hobby you would like to pursue, we will support your dance experience with great enthusiasm.

Personalized attention

We take a very personal approach to our lessons. We don't have a cookie-cutter approach to our teaching - we design a very specific program for each student. Your happiness and satisfaction is vitally important to us.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Every person is different and has their unique way of learning so our approach is adaptable to the client's needs. We try to learn as much as we can, about the person we are working with, their goals and aspirations. Whether their vision is short-term or long-term, we build a lesson plan that best suits their individual needs and will help them reach their potential.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Our dance education started at a young age with Ballet and Latin/ Ballroom dance classes. We studied dance at The Northern School of Contemporary Dance in England, as well as Dance and Psychology at Sarah Lawrence College in NY. Aside from having 20 years of experience in performing and competing professionally in the US, we have taught at various Latin/ Ballroom dance studios in NYC such as Arthur Murray Dance Studios, Manhattan Ballroom Dance, The Ball NY, Basic Ballroom and Stepping Out Studios. We currently compete professionally in the US as well as teach in NYC.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have worked with children, single men who wanted to learn how to dance with anyone, couples as well as wedding couples, homosexual couples and single women. We have also worked with perfectly healthy individuals as well as some with difficult health conditions such as cancer and muscle atrophy.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The most important thing is to understand what kind of a dance experience you would like to have and what your goals are.
